What do I need to do to join?

  • Tell one of the pastors of your interest, or call the church office
  • If transferring your membership, request a letter of transfer or ask Trinity’s office staff to do so
  • Attend the Curiosity Classes held in the spring and fall of each year

Baptism

Baptism, one of the Lutheran Church’s two sacraments, is available to people of all ages who wish to affirm their faith and commitment to God in Christ Jesus (from infants to adults). Baptisms are typically held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays during the Traditional Worship Service or any Sunday at Rejoice.

Arrangements can be made by calling Pastor Paul or Sharon Flink in the church office.

Can I take Communion?

In the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (of which we are a congregation) there is “open communion”…anyone may receive the sacrament of Holy Communion if they believe that the real presence of Christ comes to us through the Bread and the Wine.

What do Lutherans believe?

We understand ourselves as Christians who trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and hold the following:

  • We are saved by grace through faith.
  • We accept the Bible as the source of God’s revelation to us and as the source of Christian love, guidance and doctrine
  • Confess God’s Trinitarian expression in creedal statements (Apostle’s Creed, etc.)
  • Teach that a person is to live not according to a formula of do’s and don’ts, but in the freedom of Christian love

Service Times, Location and Directions

From the Sunday following Labor Day through the first Sunday in June we worship at four times on a Sunday morning…two traditional services held in our sanctuary at 8:15 and 11:15 a.m. and two Rejoice services held in our Centennial Hall at 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. During the summer months our Rejoice service is held at 9:00 a.m. with our Traditional service at 10:30 a.m., both in air-conditioned comfort.

We are located at 2700 E. Fulton about ¾ of a mile west of the East Beltline. The church property is sandwiched between Robinson Road and Fulton…we are also just east of the intersections of Cascade Road and Robinson Road and Fulton.
