Sunday school classes are offered for preschool through 4th grade at
9:00 and preschool through 6th grade at 10:00. Listed below are
descriptions of the Sunday school classes. We recommend registering
your child in the class they will be starting at in school in the
fall. Please note that Youth Sunday school classes are offered for
7th-12th grade at 10:00, however, no registration is required for
this age group.9:00 a.m.
Preschool - 4th grade: All grades will be combined into one
classroom in Room 139. This WORSHIP CENTER class involves helping
children worship in a special place apart from the worshiping
congregation. Biblical stories are experienced in a peaceful and
quiet environment with a multi-sensory approach to the learning
process.
10:00 a.m.
Preschool, Kindergarten and 1st grade: These RAINBOW classes are
traditional Sunday school classes that include bible stories with
age appropriate activities and music. Any parent of a child
registered for a class may be asked to help out on a particular day
in the classroom. The role of the parent is to assist the teacher.
There will be no preparation work necessary.
2nd - 4th grade: These classes participate in the PROMISELAND
Workshop rotation. There are three workshops that the students
rotate through each month: Storytelling, Drama & Puppetry, Created
by the Spirit, and Lutheran Basics.
5th - 6th grade: These grades are part of Trinity's ROCK (Really
Outstanding Christian Kids) youth program. The Sunday school program
consists of Bible lessons that allow for discussion and application
of these lessons to life situations.
Nursery Information
There is a nursery available at all four Sunday morning services
for children three years old and younger. Parents using nursery
services are expected to help nursery staff once every two months.
