Trinity has two prayer chains, a Telephone Prayer Chain and an
E-Mail Prayer chain, that pray for Trinity members as well as
friends, neighbors, and acquaintances of Trinity members.
Telephone Prayer Chain
IF YOU HAVE A PRAYER REQUEST or would like to join the Telephone
Prayer Chain, contact one of the team coordinators:
- Midge Reges (676-2231)
- Anita Huizenga (949-2329)
Responsibilities of those on the telephone chain are as follows:
- Write down the request exactly as given to you - keep it
simple and direct.
- Read the request back, to be sure you've understood the
request correctly.
- Pray immediately before calling the next person on your list.
- Should you reach a member's answering machine, it is okay to
leave the prayer request on the machine. However, also continue
calling down the chain until you are able to actually talk to a
fellow Prayer Chain member. Pass on only the information as given
to you - do not distort or conjecture.
- Pray God's will...and pray fervently.
- Keep requests on your prayer list one week unless otherwise
instructed.
- If you are the last person on the chain it is very important
that you call your Captain to let him/her know you received the
prayer, and the chain is completed.
Electronic Prayer Chain
IF YOU HAVE A PRAYER REQUEST or would like to join Trinity's
Electronic Prayer Chain, contact the e-mail Prayer Chain
Coordinator, Steve Cairns at
slcairns@iserv.net.
Responsibilities of those on the e-mail chain are as follows:
- Stop and pray for the requested person(s) immediately upon
receiving the request.
- Pray daily for the requested person(s) for one week, unless
otherwise instructed.
- Keep all requests confidential.
