“Nurturing the
spiritual lives of Trinity’s youngest children”
It is our intent to nurture your child spiritually
as well as physically. Sharing Bible stories and traditional songs
help prepare your child for Sunday school. Our nursery is staffed by
committed and caring individuals that come to us with active resumes
in child care. We believe that even the youngest child deserves
consistent care; this means that the same people should care for
your child every week.
What happens if my
child needs me?
When you sign your child into the Nursery, you
will be asked to fill in the information form with your child's
name, age, time of arrival, where you can be located, and your
signature. You will also be given a numbered pager that will
notify you if you need to return to the Nursery for any reason.
Who can pick up my
child?
The numbered pager given to you
at sign in and the
corresponding number will be placed with your signature on the sign
in sheet. At pick up time, the pager will be collected and only the
nursery staff can release your child to you.
How are the children
divided?
The children are grouped by age and ability.
Infants and emergent walkers are placed together within an
environment that can easily accommodate sleepers and crawlers.
Confident walkers and two year olds are in our largest room to
provide ample space for large motor movement and exploration. Lastly
our three year old friends are in our imaginative play room which
encourages a more social and interactive atmosphere. This room also
has a bathroom located within the classroom to assist our little
learners
How the nursery is
kept clean?
The nursery staff is responsible for disinfecting
all toys and surfaces where children frequent with anti bacterial
wipes. All small toys that could be teethed on are placed in the
dishwasher and air dried. All blankets, crib sheets and cloth floor
toys are promptly washed in hot water and Dreft. In addition, no
snacks are permitted in the nursery in order to avoid possible
allergy reactions and the passing of viruses. |
