All
people who worship at Trinity (members & visitors) are welcome
to share in the ministries and services at Trinity. We’d love to
have you consider Trinity your church home…welcome to our family!
You can become a member of Trinity by transfer of membership
from another congregation, by baptism or affirmation of faith. New
Member/Curiosity classes are held in the fall and spring of each
year...they are fun and informed for those interested in becoming a
part of our family.

Classes &
Events for New Members - spring 2010
Curiosity
Classes:
Sundays, March
7, 14 and 21, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Childcare provided.
Led by Pastor Paul, classes are held on three consecutive Sunday
evenings, both in the spring and fall. These classes are designed
for those inquiring into the Lutheran faith and/or reviewing their
faith. Attendance at Curiosity Classes is open to all. Joining
Trinity at the conclusion of the classes is optional.
Tapestry at Trinity:
Sunday, March 28, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Childcare provided.
The Tapestry Class is an extension of the Curiosity Classes. It has
been planned as a fun, non-intimidating way to learn more about the
special abilities God gave each of us and how we might use those
gifts in Trinity ministries.
VIP Orientation Night:
Sunday, April 18,
6:30 to 8 p.m. Childcare provided.
Designed to help new members learn the ropes at Trinity, you’ll
receive information about Trinity, hear from some of Trinity’s
staff, and connect with other new members in small groups led by
*mentors.
*Mentors will encourage get-togethers with other new members and
check-in periodically to ensure they feel at home at Trinity.
New
Member Reception:
Sunday, April 25,
10 a.m. & 11:15 a.m. Worship Services. Childcare provided.
New
members are formally welcomed into membership during both worship
services (choose the service that meets your worship style and
schedule). Photos are taken, and we host a reception in honor of
the new members after both services.
New Member Group Studies:
New members are
invited to join in a variety of small group studies. These studies
are perfect for new and current members who would like to build
friendships and grow in their understanding of God’s Word. |
