Because we at Trinity are all members of the same
church family, we enjoy having fun together and getting to know each
other better. Below you will find a listing of some of the more
regular social activities that take place at Trinity. Some
activities are appropriate for all ages while others are based on
mutual interests or they are for individuals of a specific age or
gender. Everyone is welcome - members of Trinity, non-members,
friends, relatives, visitors - please join in the fun!! Activities
specifically for Children and Youth are planned throughout the year
and are not listed here. To learn more, please go to the "Youth"

Advent
by Candlelight: A peaceful candle-lit Sunday evening during Advent for women to share
some dessert, musical entertainment and conversation to help them
prepare mentally and spiritually for the celebration of the birth
of Christ.

Basketball/Volleyball: Adults and high school youth occasionally
meet for basketball/volleyball and fellowship.

Bonding Boomers: A group
of fun 45-and-up singles who gather periodically for a variety of
fellowship events.....from sharing dinners to picnics to movie

Bridge Groups: People who meet regularly for food, fellowship
and a chance to bid seven no trump! A Trinity Couples Bridge Group
as well as a Women's Bridge Group meet on a regular basis.

Caroling Party: We gather
together at Maplecreek (formerly Luther Village) to sing for the
residents and brighten up their holidays. We break up into groups and carol on all four
residence floors and in the main lobby of the building. It's a
heart-warming experience for the entire family and, truly, all
voices are welcome!! Afterwards the carolers meet for hot
chocolate and Christmas cookies.

Dinner
Groups: Randomly designed groups of Trinity people meet three time
a year in each other's homes to share a meal and develop
relationships...great food and wonderful conversations!

Deck the Halls of
Trinity: We get together for fun and fellowship
while we decorate Trinity for the Holidays. The date is set so
that the church is decorated prior to the first Sunday of Advent.
But first we eat!! Join us for a delicious meal and then we break up into
decorating teams. It's a wonderful way to begin the Season of
Advent!

Fall
Festival: We have been blessed in recent years to be invited to
the home/farm of a Trinity family on a Saturday afternoon/evening
in the fall to enjoy fellowship, hay rides, a pig roast, campfire,
sing-a-long, fresh homemade donuts, pumpkin-painting, kids' games,
pony rides, a pie-baking contest and MORE! Everyone is invited -
details are published in church bulletins and newsletters as the
date approaches.

Fellowship Committee: A
group of Trinity members who strive to provide a wide range of fun
and fellowship activities from Spring/Fall Golf Scrambles to
sporting events, to an annual Swim Party, Trivia Night and more.
Most activities are for people from 0-110 years of age. We are
seeking new committee members! Help us plan more fun activities or
take responsibility for planning one activity of your choice per
year.

Golf Scramble: A
delightful get-together for golfers of all ages and experience
levels in May and September. Play 9 holes of golf and then stay
for dinner and prizes!!

The
Young and the SLEEPLESS: This group is a happy "marriage" of soon
to be parents and parents with children up to pre-school age who
are looking for fun and fellowship for the whole family. Whether
we share a meal at someone's home, gather at a playground to chat
while the kids are playing, or meet at church for a potluck, you

JOYful Days: Special
activity days for senior citizens that take place twice a month on Wednesdays (9:00 am-1:00 pm) in the Fall and Spring. Each
Wednesday includes a continental breakfast followed by your choice
of "breakouts:" an
informative Bible Study, Bridge and games, or Wii Bowling!
Then we gather together again for a delicious catered lunch for just $7.00.
After our meal, we enjoy a special
noon-time speaker or performer. Reservations are required for
lunch - please call Sylvia
Stouten at 949-2492 x 21 at the very latest by the Monday prior to
the specific Wednesday you would like to attend.

Picnic Pops: Bring a
picnic supper and your lawn chairs and join other Trinity folks
for an evening with the Grand Rapids Symphony at the Cannonsburg
Ski Area for the Picnic Pops. We load up the Trinity bus or you
can drive on your own. Look for signups to begin in June.

Pool Party: Join us on a
Sunday afternoon in July to enjoy some fun, fellowship and
splashin’ around!! No matter what your age, come on out and join
us at the Richmond Park Pool!! Admission is free and we have the whole pool
all to ourselves. You won't want to miss out on this Trinity
summer tradition!

Cruisers: Empty nesters who gather for fun, interaction,
fellowship and plain old good times…theater, eating out, appetizer
parties. You name it – always with good food.

Sarah Guild: A diverse
group of Trinity women of different ages and marital status who
enjoy learning, caring and laughing. They meet monthly in each
others homes for fellowship, Bible study and activities.

Softball: Trinity's coed softball teams play
May through July.

Soup Suppers: During
Lent, we gather together on five consecutive Wednesdays for a
"potluck" style soup supper followed by an evening worship
service.

Trinity Seniors:
Senior Adults who meet for lunch, field trips or
special activities when JOYful Days is not taking place.

Wild Wednesdays: Come for
a delicious dinner and stay for more!! On most Wednesdays from
September through February, we offer a casual meal at 5:15 pm for just $2 per
person ($10 maximum per family). Afterwards there are several
options from which to choose: a Bible Study with Pastor Paul, a
Speakers' Series for Parents, WBS (Women's Bible Study), High
School Youth Group, Children's Choir
Rehearsal, Homework Opportunity Room, Nursery, and more!!. Evenings can
be very busy for families...but Wednesdays at Trinity are easier
AND more fun!!
