During the church year, at
10:00 am, Sunday Morning Adult Education classes take place at
Trinity. We meet upstairs in the Church Parlor (room
219).
We are using an exciting new curriculum to learn how to better
answer God's call to follow Him as His disciples. AKALOO,
inspired by the Greek verb "to follow," is a new and innovative
approach to faith formation for people just getting into the Bible
as well as those who want to study more in depth.
We are now studying the second year of AKALOO which is entitled
"Faith Practices" - actions done by Christians to grow in faith,
serve God, and follow Jesus. They are gifts disciples use to stay
focused on Christ. During each Sunday Morning Adult Education class,
we will focus on a specific faith practice such as meditation,
discernment, Bible study, journaling, silence, etc.
We have had a very positive response to our AKALOO classes.
Participants can attest to enjoying the thought-provoking
discussions. If you attend the classes, you can register to be
an "Adult Learner" on the AKALOO website. This will open up
many different ways for you to study the lessons on your own outside
of class. Stop in when your schedule allows - It is not necessary to attend each and every week in
order to benefit from the discussions.
Are you ready to AKALOO? Don't miss out!! Come a
little early before worship or stay awhile after worship for AKALOO
- you will be glad you did...
